http://ginadavis.net Real Estate Mon, 20 Feb 2012 19:04:40 +0000 en hourly 1 http://ginadavis.net/2012/02/19/spring-is-almost-here/ http://ginadavis.net/2012/02/19/spring-is-almost-here/#comments Sun, 19 Feb 2012 22:40:49 +0000 Gina Davis http://withwre.com/ginadavis/?p=1 Anacortes is starting to buzz with expectations of spring.  The housing market is picking up quickly and as of today, February 19th, there are only 170 active residential listings on the market, 43 homes under contract and 114 homes have sold in the last six months.  Homes are selling, people are buying and the rates are still incredibly low.  A sign to me that Anacortes is on the up swing is contractors are starting to build spec homes again.  Strandberg Construction is building homes in Rockridge, Rustad Construction has a new home pending in Skyline and San Juan Passage is consistently working on new construction and the homes are selling as quickly as they are built.  This is the best sign for a positive market.
